“Learning from and Responding to Diverse Students: Lessons from The Andrew W. Mellon Teaching and Learning Institute at Bryn Mawr College”

This address and interactive discussion will include an overview of The Andrew W. Mellon Teaching and Learning Institute (TLI) at Bryn Mawr College and the opportunities it affords faculty members to learn from and respond to diverse students. It will provide a description of faculty seminar forums and faculty-student partnerships, focusing particularly on the roles the TLI creates for students and outcomes for both students and faculty. The interactive discussion will include time for questions about the TLI and exploration of how a program like this might be replicated at other institutions.
