Take Latin (or Greek)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A recent study in the <em>American Journal of Sociology<\/em> finds that high school students&#8217; social lives and friendships depend more on their classes than anything else. As Eleanor Barkhorn says in the <em>Atlantic<\/em>, &#8220;<span><span>The study also found that friendships tend to form in smaller, more unusual classes: in Latin class. . . rather than gym or a geometry course that all students are required to take.<\/span><\/span>&#8221; The friendships formed, based on mutual interest, tend to endure and can help with finding jobs as well as promoting personal satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>The same is bound to be true in College &#8212; so take Latin! Take Greek!
