I grew up in a small ocean side community in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Living on The Cape has fostered my love of nature. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, beach walks, kayaking, swimming, and running outdoors. To keep busy at home I work as a life guard at the town of Barnstable beaches during the day and as a medical scribe in the emergency room at Cape Cod Hospital at night.
When I’m not at home taking on the great out doors with my dog, Bruce, or working one of my jobs, I am attending school at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. At Trinity I study a wide range of liberal arts subjects from public policy and law to psychology.
Outside the class room I play on the soccer team and lacrosse team. Sports provide structure and discipline in my life that challenges me to grow as a competitor, a student, and a teammate. In addition to athletics, I joined the Trinity College Mock Trial team and the Movable Joints improv comedy troupe. Being involved in campus life and taking advantage of unique opportunities has helped me to create a strong network of connections and allowed me to discover and pursue new interests.
