He began teaching <em>Educ 308: Cities Suburbs and Schools<\/em>\u00a0as a community-learning research seminar, where a group of undergraduate students collaborate with local organizations to answer qualitative, quantitative, and historical questions about education and housing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2012\/11\/ZannoniDiane.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-11760\" src=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2012\/11\/ZannoniDiane.jpg\" alt=\"ZannoniDiane\" width=\"100\" height=\"125\" \/><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/internet2.trincoll.edu\/facProfiles\/Default.aspx?fid=1000560\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Diane Zannoni<\/a>\u00a0is a Professor of Economics at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. Previously, he served as a policy analyst at Connecticut Voices for Children, where he co-authored a report, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ctvoices.org\/publications\/choice-watch-diversity-and-access-connecticuts-school-choice-programs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Choice Watch: Diversity and Access in Connecticut&#8217;s School Choice Programs<\/em><\/a>. Robert also taught secondary-level social studies for six years at the Metropolitan Learning Center interdistrict magnet school in Bloomfield CT, earned master&#8217;s degrees from Harvard Graduate School of Education and Trinity&#8217;s American Studies Program, and also serves as an elected member on the Hartford Board of Education.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2014\/05\/MiraDebs.jpg\"><img class=\"alignright wp-image-11116\" src=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2014\/05\/MiraDebs.jpg\" alt=\"MiraDebs\" height=\"125\" srcset=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2014\/05\/MiraDebs.jpg 200w, http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2014\/05\/MiraDebs-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2014\/05\/MiraDebs-32x32.jpg 32w, http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2014\/05\/MiraDebs-64x64.jpg 64w, http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2014\/05\/MiraDebs-96x96.jpg 96w, http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/cssp\/files\/2014\/05\/MiraDebs-128x128.jpg 128w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a>Mira Debs is conducting field research at two Montessori magnet schools in Hartford while writing her dissertation for her Ph.D. degree in the Sociology Department at Yale University. In Spring 2014 she gave a guest lecture at Trinity on &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/jackdougherty\/2014\/01\/14\/mira-debs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Parent Choice and Involvement on the Ground<\/a>,&#8221; based on preliminary findings from her 18-month qualitative study and interviews with city and suburban parents.
