My research interests are primarily in the earth and environmental sciences. My Ph.D. work focused on the active tectonics of Taiwan, but more recently my work revolves around the rocks of eastern Connecticut with a focus on formations that contain pyrrhotite, the mineral responsible for the premature deterioration of concrete foundations.
