Abstract: The Library will be hosting Peter F. Burns for an author talk and book signing for his book:
“Electoral Politics Is Not Enough: Racial and Ethnic Minorities and Urban Politics”
This book examines how and why government leaders understand and respond to African Americans and Latinos in Bridgeport, Hartford, Stamford, and Waterbury.

Biographical Sketch: Peter F. Burns is a graduate of the University of Connecticut, and a former Visiting Assistant Professor at Trinity College in Hartford. He is Associate Professor of Political Science at Loyola University New Orleans.
