Library’s Digital Projects Initiative

We are pleased to announce that this
spring the Library is launching a new initiative to create an institutional
repository for digital collections.  The repository will serve to
share academic content, created by or for the Trinity community, with
a broader public.  Also included in the repository will be content
selected for digitization from the holdings of the Watkinson Library.  We
look forward to working with the campus community in identifying contributions
for the repository, which we hope will be a true showcase of Trinity’s
scholarship and creativity.

To coordinate this new initiative,
Amy Harrell will be moving out of Music & Media Services and assume
the newly defined position of Digital Projects Librarian.  Amy will
continue her liaison responsibilities to the Music and Theater & Dance
departments.  Amy Rua, Media Collections Manager, will coordinate the daily
operations of the Music & Media facility, with support from the
main circulation desk staff.

For any questions about this new
initiative, please contact College Librarian Dr. Richard Ross,
