Don’t Leave Your Laptops Unattended

Please secure your valuables when
you leave your study stations. An unattended laptop is one of the easiest
things to steal. Don’t let it happen to you!

Laptop locks are available for borrowing at the Circulation
Desk so you can secure your computer to the table top. Keep wallets, cell
phones, MP3 players and other personal items with you at all times.

Safer studying is happier studying!

Research Help – This Sunday

Classical Music Library

A fourth major set of online music has just been integrated into the Library’s catalog: Classical Music Online.  Repertoire ranges from vocal and choral music, to chamber, orchestral, solo instrumental, and opera.  The content of this database was created in part to reflect the Music Library Association’s publication “A Basic Music Library” to ensure that the Classical Music Library includes at least one recording of each work listed, making this a great resource for its comprehensive coverage.

An example of one of its records can be found at

The 4,196 albums in this set are also searchable directly within its native interface at .  Note that all four music databases we get from Alexander Street Press can also be searched together at
