Only 5 days until the deadline for applications for 2012-2013 Research Associates! What do Research Associates do? A variety of things, including:

  • Developing expertise in one major library database & offering peer instruction
  • Participating in a service or project of your own design, with the counseling of a Library Mentor
  • Assisting with FY Library tours
  • Being available for feedback, outreach, or on-call assistance

Research Associates will take a .5 credit course in the spring, Research Methods and Information Resources. Upon completion of the course, they will be eligible for paid RA positions,  receiving a stipend of $500 for 50 hours of work over the course of the semester, and working under the guidance of a Librarian Mentor.
