Student Video Contest: New Deadline!


All students are invited to compete in our Library Video Contest, for prizes including a $75 Amazon gift card. To enter, students should make a short video showcasing the Library in a style of their choosing (comedy, documentary, mystery, etc. — creativity counts!).

Submissions are due by April 5; multiple winners will be selected.

The First-Year Papers: open for submissions!

First-Year Students are invited to submit their work for publication in The First-Year Papers, a selection of top-quality pieces drawn from First-Year Seminars and Gateway Programs (Cities, Guided Studies, InterArts, ISP and the Genome Research Project). The deadline is February 28, 2013.

These works are currently published online in our Digital Repository, with full issues of The First-Year Papers from 2010 to 2012 available as PDFs. We invite you to explore this collection of academic excellence from the first-year students at Trinity!

Library Open Monday, Feb 11

Although the College is closed, the Library will be open regular hours today, February 11, 8:30 AM-1:00 AM.

Library Snow Closing

The Library will be closing at 2:30pm on Friday, February 8th due to the snow storm.  We will remain closed Saturday and expect to reopen our normal time on Sunday if conditions allow.

New Leisure Reading Collection

We are pleased to announce the launch of our new Leisure Reading Collection, an ongoing selection of popular fiction, non-fiction, and graphic novels for the Trinity community. Many of the titles were drawn from student and faculty suggestions, and the full shelf can be found on Level 2 in the Grand Reading Room. Loan periods are 2 weeks with one renewal.
