Starting 9/17, Writing Associates will be available to help with your work in the Library, on Level A, from 4-8 pm. They will be stationed at the old Reference Desk every Tuesday from 4-8 pm, with the Consultation Space available for use. Writing Associates can help you at any stage of your writing, from planning to polishing, and you can either stop by or make an appointment in advance using their online scheduling system at

Textbooks on reserve can be checked out for short 2-3 hour loan periods.

We know you’re running all day – that’s why we have Course Reserves right at our Circulation Desk for you. These materials include required readings, textbooks, and even DVDs that your professors have placed on reserve for your class. Stop by and check out your assigned material for a short loan. Media viewing rooms on Level 1 can be booked for video materials, and book scanners are on Level A, making it easy to save what you need. You’ll be in and out with a lighter load and freer mind!

You can search through Course Reserves by using the Course Reserves link on the main library page and browsing by professor or course title. Textbooks are listed under course title: LIBR 108-01 TEXTBOOK Reserves. If you have any questions, ask online or at the front desk.
