Library institutes changes during Finals!

There will be two changes to standard operating procedures in the Library due to Final Exams.   First, we will accommodate your need to study late into the night by expanding the 24-hour zone into the south Reading Room on Levels 2 & 3.  Second, we will not permit visitors into the Library during this time.

These changes are in effect from Sunday, December 13 until December 22, 2015.

Good luck on your finals and papers!

Faculty note: Course Reserves for Spring 2016

It is again time for faculty to submit your lists of Library Course Reserves for the spring semester.  If you have not used this service before, it allows us to pull any print books and videos from our collection and hold them at the Library Circulation desk under shorter loan periods to make sure the material is available to as many students in your class as possible.

This year we are asking that you submit your lists by Friday, December 11th or as soon afterwards as possible to give us time to purchase items we may not hold and to digitize films we have not used in a while.

Since the Library does not typically buy textbooks, if you have any personal or departmental copies of textbooks being assigned this spring that you are willing to let us share with the students, we’d be happy to make them available.  They will be returned to you over the summer.

 Next Steps

What do you need to do?  Submit your lists of books and videos using the online form at .  Further details about library course reserves are available at .  If you have any questions you can contact Amy Rua, our Circulation Reserves Manager, who will be happy to help you.
