Hi, I’m Abby Hughes and I am a senior at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. Over the course of the past three and a half years, I have been lucky enough to have had the experience to meet life-long friends, take a variety of courses, and play in the national championship game for three consecutive years with my teammates. Trinity College has allowed me the opportunity to be both a student and an athlete. The beauty of a liberal arts education that Trinity provides has given me knowledge from an assortment of disciplines spanning from taking a computer science seminar my freshmen year to Current Issues in Cognition my senior Fall. As an athlete, I have learned to value teamwork. As the first semester of my senior year comes to a close, although I do not yet know what I want to do after I graduate, I do know that my experience at Trinity will continue to impact me far after graduation.
