Are different optical assumptions involved?<\/p>\n Note the earlier use of the term stimulus<\/u> (as a source<\/u> of stimulation) and the later distinction between stimulus energy<\/u> and stimulus information<\/u>.<\/p>\n What is the difference between the information conveyed by pictures and that conveyed by language in the later theory?<\/p>\n What concepts in the earlier version can be salvaged?
