Members of the Class of 1968 in their 50th Reunion year<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Members of classes ending in 3s and 8s gathered June 7\u201310 for Reunion Weekend, which featured more than 80 events and activities.<\/p>\n

Retired University of Hartford president Walter Harrison \u201968, the recipient of an honorary doctor of humane letters degree at his 50th Reunion, with President Joanne Berger-Sweeney<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Highlights of the weekend included \u201cThe Evolution of the Coeducational Experience at Trinity,\u201d celebrating the pioneering Class of 1973, the college\u2019s first fully coeducational class; the granting of an honorary doctor of humane letters degree to former University of Hartford president and 50th Reunion celebrant Walter Harrison \u201968<\/a>; and \u201cA Conversation with the President,\u201d with Harrison interviewing Trinity President Joanne Berger-Sweeney. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn about the results of the recent alumni survey and to tour Trinity\u2019s Crescent Center for Arts and Neuroscience and the college\u2019s new downtown campus at Constitution Plaza.<\/p>\n

These events took their place among more traditional activities, including a New England-style clambake, campus tours, story time with the Bantam, tours of the Trinity Chapel and carillon, and the Parade of Classes.<\/p>\n

Women\u2019s Leadership Council Alumnae Champagne Breakfast<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Alumni Convocation saw the awarding of several prizes, including the Paul E. Raether \u201968 Alumni Achievement Award. Director of Alumni Relations Steve Donovan noted that the previously named Alumni Achievement Award was renamed in honor of Raether \u201968, H\u201914, P\u201993, \u201996, \u201901 to acknowledge his significant level of engagement, leadership, and support of the college as he celebrated his 50th Reunion.<\/p>\n
