Neema Kimondo \u201923 and Brenda Ordo\u00f1ez \u201922 show off the colorful mural adorning the community garden at Trinfo.Caf\u00e9. Kimondo, who is majoring in psychology and minoring in studio arts, created the mural with the assistance of Ordo\u00f1ez, who double majored in educational studies and studio arts and now takes part in the Studio Arts Department\u2019s Deborah Buck \u201978 Postbaccalaureate Fellowship. The garden mural is one of several on campus by Kimondo\u2014others adorn spaces including the Underground Coffeehouse tunnel, the Queer Resource Center, and an all-gender restroom in Mather Hall\u2014with more to come, including one commissioned for the Student Activities, Involvement & Leadership (S.A.I.L.) Office. Kimondo also recently served as the lead artist for a mural on Broad Street for Black Girls Achieve<\/a>, an empowerment program for Black girls led by Trinity alumna Taniqua Huguley \u201915, M\u201917.
