Each year, the Trinity men’s and women’s swimming and diving team participates in the Hour of Power, in memory of Ted Mullin, a swimmer at Carleton College, who lost his battle with a rare form of sarcoma. The Hour of Power was Ted’s favorite set as a swimmer. It is a full 60 minutes of relay style sprinting with the goal of keeping all relays within one body length of each other for the entire hour. According to Kristen Noone, head swimming coach at Trinity, “It is a completely exhausting set, but very rewarding.
