<\/a>\u201cCome away with me, Lucille, in my merry Oldsmobile, own the road of life we’ll fly \/ Automobubbling, you and I\u2026\u201d<\/p>\nFirst written and recorded early in the 20th<\/sup> century, one 1920s version of \u201cIn my Merry Oldsmobile\u201d inadvertently became a scarce record highly sought after by both motoring enthusiasts and record collectors.\u00a0 The recording is desirable because it was a special pressing, created for General Motors as a give-away at the 1927 auto show.
