My academic interests have stayed pretty much the same over the past four years. I came into college knowing I wanted to study a science so enrolled in science classes to see what I wanted to pursue more. Coming into freshman year I was mostly between biology and physics. After taking some biology courses I decided to major in biology as math was not my strong suit. Over the past few years I have stayed with the biology discipline and still find it interesting. The classes within this discipline have all be intriguing and exciting giving me an insight to many different aspects of the field of biology.
The main extracurricular I participated in while here at trinity was the trinity rugby team. It has been a great experience which allowed me to engage and meet with many different people. It is just a club sport and this past year our coach for 15 years left us to take another job so this presented me and some of the other seniors on the team with the opportunity to coach the team ourselves. It was a great experience for all of us because it allowed us to take on a leadership position that not everyone has the opportunity to experience.
I am not a hundred percent sure what I want to do after I graduate but I think I would like to take an easy job some place I have never been. At this point I do not think I want to jump right into grad school or a serious career so taking a couple years to explore different things sounds more intriguing to me than does getting into serious stuff. I have always loved to ski and being in Hartford for four winters made me realize how much I missed skiing so moving to some place where I would be able to ski a lot sounds a like something I might be interested in doing.
