New publication: Effects of Japanese knotweed on avian diversity and function in riparian habitats

Former Master’s student Linda Tucker Serniak, now in the Environmental Sciences doctoral program at Oregon State University, is the lead author on our co-authored paper entitled Effects of Japanese knotweed on avian diversity and function in riparian habitats which was published on-line on 14 September 2016 in the Journal of Ornithology. This research demonstrates how Japanese knotweed, an invasive plant species that has impacted vast parts of the US, impacts birds near streams.
