New publication demonstrates the importance of state parks to wetlands and biodiversity conservation

Amber Pitt, Joanna Hawley Howard, Rob Baldwin, Elizabeth Baldwin, and Bryan Brown co-authored an original research article entitled Small Parks as Local Social-Ecological Systems Contributing to Conservation of Small Isolated and Ephemeral Wetlands which was published in the Natural Areas Journal. This study reveals the importance of state parks and other small conservation areas for wetland and biodiversity conservation.
