In a class I took called Community Psychology, all students taking the class were required to volunteer in a Hartford Community twice a week. This course was focused around understanding all of the different aspects of communities. The point of getting involved in Hartford communities was to apply what we learned in class to the community. I was working with a non-profit human services agency called the Village for Families and Children. I worked in a 3rd grade classroom which was immensely rewarding. The two papers attached are about my experiences at the school and analyzations of the program based off my knowledge from the course.
