CHAS regularly assembles representatives from member institutions for meetings to exchange ideas, obtain new information, share best practices, and engage in networking. These meetings have typically taken place once or twice a year.

Featured speakers included: Anthony Abraham Jack (B.A. Amherst, Ph.D., Harvard), Assistant Professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and author of The Privileged Poor: How Elite Colleges Are Failing Disadvantaged Students (2019), and Christina Greer (B.A., Tufts, Ph.D., Columbia), Associate Professor of Political Science and American Studies at Fordham University and author of Black Ethnics: Race, Immigration and the Pursuit of the American Dream (2013).
