This event took place in Hadlyme, CT at the Cove Cemetery, which is the final resting place of Edith Hamilton (1867-1963), an author renowned in Classics for her smashingly popular <em>Mythology<\/em> (1942), among other books about ancient Greece and Rome.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/classics\/files\/2017\/06\/Hamilton-4-e1496418050955.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-461 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/classics\/files\/2017\/06\/Hamilton-4-e1496418050955-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Hamilton 4\" width=\"625\" height=\"833\" srcset=\"https:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/classics\/files\/2017\/06\/Hamilton-4-e1496418050955-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/classics\/files\/2017\/06\/Hamilton-4-e1496418050955-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/classics\/files\/2017\/06\/Hamilton-4-e1496418050955-624x832.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 625px) 100vw, 625px\" \/><\/a>Professors Risser, Safran, and Tomasso enjoyed the toast at Edith&#8217;s burial site, and then joined the sizeable ClassCon group for a short trip to the nearby Gillette Castle, where Professor Judith P.
