Read more about what Jack learned <a href=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/jackdougherty\/2014\/05\/02\/hackathon\/\" target=\"_blank\">by participating in his first hackathon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Housing Mobility Map (based on <a href=\"http:\/\/derekeder.com\/searchable_map_template\/\" target=\"_blank\">Derek Eder&#8217;s open-source template<\/a>) allows families and housing counselors to enter the address of a possible apartment or house, view surrounding neighborhood assets, and evaluate the level of opportunity in that census tract, based on a recent report commissioned by the CT Fair Housing Center.
