\n<\/em>Jackie is an electric guitarist and singer who moves easily from blues to reggae to rock to country. I saw her this summer and it\u2019s clear that she\u2019s a rising star! Some are comparing her electrifying playing to Jimi Hendrix.<\/p>\n

The Man by Aloe Blacc<\/em>
\nThis headliner for Trinity\u2019s Alumni Bicentennial Celebration won my heart with his smooth sound and marvelous moves.<\/p>\n

Philadelphia Freedom by Elton John
\n<\/em>This is in honor of Sir Elton\u2019s final tour. Who can forget how he burst on the scene in the 1970\u2019s and created hit after hit after hit.<\/p>\n

Break My Soul by Beyonc\u00e9<\/em>
\nWhat\u2019s the summer without a little Queen Bey? Truthfully, what\u2019s any season without a little Bey?<\/p>\n

Summertime by George Gershwin, sung by Ella Fitzgerald<\/em>
\nIt was on last year\u2019s list, and it\u2019s here again. One of my favorite all time songs and who doesn\u2019t want to think about \u201csummertime, when the living is easy?\u201d<\/p>\n

Jamaica Farewell by Harry Belafonte<\/em>
\nFarewell to the magnificent Harry Belafonte. This is a song that my mother would sing to me as a lullaby.<\/p>\n

Simply the Best by Tina Turner<\/em>
\nIn tribute to the great Tina Turner, who was simply the best.<\/p>\n

Not While I\u2019m Around by Stephen Sondheim, from Sweeney Todd<\/em>
\nThis ironic song is a young boy professing love to his mother-like figure and vowing to protect her. Farewell to the marvelous Mr. Sondheim.<\/p>\n

Teach Your Children by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young<\/em>
\nIn honor of the songbook of David Crosby.<\/p>\n

If Ever I Would Leave You by Frederick Loewe, from Camelot<\/em>
\nLancelot professes his forbidden love to Queen Guinevere and shares that if he would leave her, \u201cit wouldn\u2019t be in summer\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

La Donna \u00e9 mobile by Luciano Pavarotti<\/em>
