The video for “My Heart Will Go On” tells the story of the romantic relationship between Jack and Rose, two young adults from very different backgrounds, in\u00a0Titanic.<\/em>\u00a0The video’s very emotionally charged lyrics correspond with the intense nature of Jack and Rose’s short relationship aboard the Titanic ship. In the video, a pivotal scene from Titanic<\/em> in which Jack passionately embraces Rose at the bow of the boat plays as Celine Dion sings the lyrics, “you’re here in my heart and my heart will go on.” The embrace between two people who are so obviously in love coupled with this lyric illustrates the kind of enduring love that Celine Dion sings about in the song, “My Heart Will Go On.” The video is also a sort of tribute offered to all of the people who died during the sinking of the Titanic after it hit an iceberg and to the loved ones of those who died in the accident. The tragedy of the loss of so many lives is immeasurable and this video has a decidedly hopeful attitude about situations such as the sinking of the Titanic in which people suddenly lose the ones they love most. This video says that, although those who died in the sinking of the Titanic are gone, the people who died were not forgotten by their loved ones and were continued to be loved after their deaths because the power of love is so strong. The video also suggests that Celine Dion is a very passionate person who believes strongly in the power of love. She’s probably had at least one romantic relationship that has taught her how love can endure even through trying situations such as Jack and Rose’s in\u00a0Titanic.<\/em>
