What is<\/strong> visualisation training?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Visualisation training is the act of actively imagining what a task will look like before it occurs.<\/p>\n

For example: You ask the participant to open the door in 2 minutes.<\/p>\n

While the participant is performing the ongoing task you should ask them the following questions and record their responses:<\/p>\n

  1. What will you see when the event occurs?<\/li>\n
  2. If it is a visual cue, what colour will it be?<\/li>\n
  3. What size will the event be?<\/li>\n
  4. What will you hear when the event occurs?<\/li>\n
  5. How will you feel when the event occurs?<\/li>\n
  6. Do you have any specific thoughts about the event?<\/li>\n
  7. Please imagine yourself performing the task.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
