You need to think about what the critical elements are and how best to display them. We have developed these resources to help you through the process. Here, you can download PowerPoint templates in a variety of sizes, see demo poster layouts and get some guidelines on font sizes, graphics and more.<\/p>\n<h2>Getting started<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Take a few minutes to view the <\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\" title=\"Posters 101\" href=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/posters101\/posters-101\/\">Posters 101<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\"> presentation. This presentation will only take a few minutes and will tell you everything you need to know about good poster design!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">We recommend you create your poster in PowerPoint and save it as a PDF file for printing when you are done.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\">Use one of the <\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\" title=\"Templates\" href=\"http:\/\/commons.trincoll.edu\/posters101\/templates\/\">templates<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;\"> we have created.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Make sure your slide is sized appropriately before you begin 24&#215;36, 36&#215;48 etc. This is all set in the templates already.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem; line-height: 1.714285714;\">Visit the LITC B02 computer lab to get some ideas in terms of layout and font sizes from our demo posters on display.
