Research in the Psycholinguistics Lab explores the ways in which people use, perceive, and produce language – and how that communication changes in response to contexts (e.g. interacting during a business meeting vs. chatting socially at lunch), settings (talking in a quiet room vs. a noisy restaurant), and acoustic factors such as echo or the loss of information experienced in hearing loss.
