fMRI and Cognitive Rehabilitation Study for People with Brain Injury<\/strong><\/p>\nTrinity College and The Olin Neuropsychiatric Research Center at the Institute of Living are conducting a study on cognitive rehabilitation after brain injury.<\/p>\n
Did you have a traumatic brain injury? Do you have difficulty with memory? If so, you may be eligible to volunteer for a study to see whether cognitive rehabilitation treatment can help improve your memory.<\/p>\n
All treatment is with paper or computer; it does not involve any medications or medical procedures.<\/p>\n
You will be asked to take an fMRI of your brain and participate in cognitive rehabilitation once per week for one hour over 8 weeks.<\/p>\n
For participating in this study, you will be compensated a standard rate of $20 per hour in gift cards, up to a total of $160 if all appointments for the study are complete.<\/p>\n
The study is being supervised by Sarah Raskin, PhD and Michael Stevens, PhD. The treatment takes place at Trinity College and the fMRI is at the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT.<\/p>\n

Memory treatment for people with Mild Cognitive Impairment<\/strong><\/p>\nHave you been diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment? If so, you may be eligible to volunteer for a study to see whether cognitive rehabilitation treatment can help improve your memory.<\/p>\n

You will be asked to undergo an optional EEG and participate in cognitive rehabilitation once per week for one hour over 8 weeks.<\/p>\n
For participating in this study, you will be compensated a standard rate of $20 per hour in gift cards if all appointments for the study are complete.<\/p>\n
