Senior captain Jenna Wilborne won the NESCAC\u00a0triple jump title\u00a0with a distance\u00a0of 38&#8217;03.50&#8243;, and junior captain Lily Talesnick won the league\u2019s\u00a0hammer throw crown with a facility-record distance of 156&#8217;02&#8221;. Trinity totaled 55 points, three better than ninth-place Wesleyan and four shy of seventh-place Colby, while\u00a0Williams won the team title with 170 points. Wilborne also was second in the long jump at 18&#8217;00.25&#8243;, while Talesnick added a third-place heave of 38&#8217;11.75&#8243; in the shot put and was fifth in the discus throw at 112&#8217;02&#8221;. Sophomore sprinter Katie Tonyai posted a third-place time of 12.46 in the 100-meter dash and finished fifth in the 200-meter dash at 25.84.\u00a0Wilborne and Talesnick earned All-NESCAC honors in two events apiece due to their respective top-three finishes, and Tonyai joined the pair on the All-NESCAC squad. At the New England Division III Championships,\u00a0Wilborne and first-year Morgan Sullivan finished third in the triple jump and 800-meter run, respectively.\u00a0Wilborne covered 38&#8217;01.50&#8243; in the triple jump, and Sullivan finished in 2:15.13. Talesnick added a fourth-place distance of 157&#8217;03.25&#8243; in the hammer throw and an eighth-place heave of 39&#8217;11.50&#8243; in the shot put, while Tonyai was sixth in the 100-meter dash at 12.53. All four Bantams earned All-New England recognition for their performances. Wilborne also\u00a0earned All-New England Open honors with a sixth-place distance of 38&#8217;04.25&#8243; in the triple jump, finishing\u00a0second in the 20-person field among Division III competitors and 2.5 inches shy of the first-place jumper. She tied for third in the triple jump with a distance of 39&#8217;02.50&#8243; to score all 5.5 of her team\u2019s points in the ECAC\u00a0Championships, collecting\u00a0All-ECAC recognition for her performance.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Men&#8217;s Outdoor Track and Field<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Trinity\u2019s men\u2019s outdoor track and field team finished ninth in the NESCAC Championship Meet, as sophomore Aman Stuppard\u00a0won the triple jump with a facility-record distance of 47&#8217;01.00&#8243;. Trinity totaled 34.33 points, while Tufts won the team title with 169.3 points.
