Chaired primarily by members of Trinity College’s English Department, “Anthologies: A Conference,” brought academics from around the country and the world to carefully discuss and analyze anthologies. The event was organized by Thora Brylowe, Visiting Assistant Professor of English; and Paul Lauter, the Allan K. and Gwendolyn Miles Smith Professor of Literature, as well as the General Editor of the Heath Anthology of American Literature. Ten panel discussions were held to explore an array of topics from the history of the anthology to its role in universities today.
