On August 10 David Yih of the Connecticut Botanical Society and Trinity’s Theater and Dance Department conducted a tour of the many types of trees found on Trinity’s campus. From an American hornbeam (found on the south side of McCook), to a Norway spruce (on the Mather quad), or a yellowwood (pictured above on the Cave patio with David describing alternate compound leaves), Trinity is home to more than 1,000 trees and a wide variety of species.
