At the start of the fall semester, the new Deans’ Scholars enjoyed dinner with their faculty adviser and the sponsoring deans: Dr. Rena Fraden, Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Margaret Lindsey, Dean of the First-Year Program.  The distinction of Deans’ Scholar is awarded to those first-year students who, at the end of their freshman year, have achieved the top 25 grade point averages of their class.
