Trinity students recently wrapped up a production of “Spring Awakening,” a coming-of-age tale written by Frank Wedekind in 1892. The play was adapted into a rock musical by Steve Sater and Duncan Sheik in 2006, running on Broadway until 2009, collecting eight Tony Awards along the way. In the Trinity production, student performers were accompanied by a live orchestra comprised of students and staff. The musical was put on by the department of music.
