Education studies major Taylor Godfrey ’14, and psychology major Melva López ’14, present their research at this week’s Community Learning Initiative Community Partners Appreciation Party. Godfrey and López partnered with Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy for their project, “Learn 2 Learn: A Metacognitive Intervention.” Their research demonstrated the value of explicit instruction of metacognition, something they called on schools to implement in order to enhance academic performance.
