This music slideshow includes photos by Nick Lacy, with music sung by the 1991 Chapel Singers and written by Robert Edward Smith, Composer in Residence at Trinity, celebrating his 30th year at the College.  The piece is entitled, “Blessed City, Heavenly Salem.”  The Chapel Singers will perform from 11:30 a.m. to noon on Sat., May 22, 2010 as a Commencement weekend event.

The prestigious Trinity College Chapel Singers, which formed in 1824, is the oldest student group on campus.  The diverse collection of undergraduate students, directed by John Rose, performs regularly at campus events, has performed around the world, including in England, Italy, San Francisco, and the United States Virgin Islands.  In addition, the group will be traveling to perform in Montreal and Quebec City on May 24.
