Drew Hyland, Charles A. Dana Professor of Philosophy, talked on the importance of athletics in education and drew parallels from his time as a Div. I basketball player at Princeton University. Hyland and the Princeton Tigers went to the equivalent of the “March Madness Sweet 16” when he was a player, and his experiences led him to Trinity, where he argues that athletics can play a critical role in the development of a student. The talk was part of the Mill’s Faculty Lecture Series. Click here to listen to Drew Hyland’s talk.
