These photos were taken at a music performance in Hamlin Hall at Trinity College on March 11, 2011. Dan Román, Assistant Professor of Music at Trinity, composed and conducted works performed by Steve Larson (viola); Carlynn Savot (violoncello); Pi-Hsun Shih (piano); Annie Trépanier (violin); and Katalin Viszmeg (violin). Román integrates elements of folkloric music from the Caribbean, in particular that of his native Puerto Rico, with the mechanics of minimalism and the aesthetics of postmodern art. His music has been performed in Puerto Rico, South America, Spain, France, Austria, Italy, and throughout the United States.  Photos by Nick Lacy.
