Trinity College’s Department of Political Science hosted a discussion with U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) on Wednesday, October 5, 2016, in a crowded McCook Auditorium. Murphy, a member of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee, addressed his role on the committee and the challenges faced by U.S. foreign policy. This was an opportunity for students to engage with one of the most recognized members of the Senate on a subject that has been polarizing during the presidential campaign.
