Professor Bauer has been exploring immigrant and refugee resettlement in Hartford with Trinity College Students since 2001 beginning with the Hartford Area Refugee Research Group.  Here we talk about our work with immigrants and refugees partnering with various community organizations and service providers that seek to facilitate immigrant and refugee incorporation in the life of Hartford.  Much of the work ‘post resettlement’  assistance falls on nonprofits and voluntary organizations.
