A variety of youth mentoring programs have been organized by different Hartford nonprofits–like Grace Academy, HYPE, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Hartford YMCA, and tutoring/mentoring programs like Connectikids.  In 2017 Hartford Public Library began piloting an academic focused immigrant youth mentoring program for Bulkeley High School students.

Trinity College students have piloted two refugee youth mentoring programs–one, Take2mentoring and the other in spring, 2017, the Refugee Youth Mentoring Program–with a focus on facilitating youth acculturation and success in schools and careers.  See tabs for both under “Projects”–“Youth and Business Mentoring”.
