As a culminating project for the semester, students in ECON 235: The Economics of Gender at Trinity College created a 500-word blog post about current gender issues within a specific environment.

Students were required to generate an annotated bibliography of sources related to their chosen environment, draft a blog post for a general audience, and create an infographic illustrating their main findings.

Each blog post includes:

  • A summary of gender issues identified in the selected environment
  • Policy recommendations
  • Potential consequences without intervention
  • At least two research questions of interest based on the patterns/issues observed
  • An infographic
