3rd & 3rd Delray Beach, Florida

Over spring break this year, I visited Delray Beach, Florida with my family. The culture of eating out is the most prominent of any place I have ever visited. Most restaurants in the area are chains or well established entities, with the exception of 3rd & 3rd, a small eatery, found on the corner of NE 3rd Ave. and 3rd Street. The small restaurant prides itself on its quant and unremarkable exterior, but a phenomenal quality in their food. With no exterior markings, it is impossible to find unless you know exactly where you are going, making word of mouth their greatest advertisement and heightening its draw for locals, rather than tourists. The atmosphere feels homey because it is actually is in the living room of a house. The food all looked amazing, but I can only speak for the portabella burger, which was out of this world. This restaurant was unique in its innate local character and flavor in a sea of chains and large enterprises.
