Arts for Healing Festival
Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital, New Haven
Wednesday, October 2nd, 6 pm through
Sunday, October 6th, 4:30pm
At the Arts for Healing Festival the arts and humanities are used as tools to help patients, caregivers and community members understand the perceptions – and misconceptions – surrounding illness. Join us at this special CTH-funded event exploring illness and resilience through art and discussion. The festival begins with keynote poet Ekiwah Adler-Belendez on October 2nd and will include daily performances by Social Change Theater along with a workshop with the festival artists on October 6th. Patient artwork will be on display for the duration of the event. For more information visit our cultural calendar.
