My name is Giovanni and I am an incoming freshman to Trinity College from Chicago. I come from Puerto Rican and Mexican descent, although the neighborhood I grew up in was a majority Mexican neighborhood, hence I identify more with the Mexican side of my heritage. Through my school career I have developed an affinity for math and science and plan to pursue a career in engineering and hopefully go on to work for google or amazon. I intend to major in electrical engineering and minor in computer science although I do have many interests and my plans can most definitely change. I love the idea of having a stable job and have known that no matter what, I would like my job to include math. For these reasons computer science and engineering are my preferred majors.
In the past, I have had interest for architecture, mechanics, cooking and even writing and publishing. I have a broad range of interests and love to expand my horizons with new experiences. I have a passion for learning new things and consider myself to be a lifetime learner.
