I am Shannon from Saunderstown, Rhode Island, which is a small town located on the coast of Narragansett Bay. At Trinity, I plan to major in biology on the pre- med track and possibly minor in Spanish as well. I am on the swim team at Trinity and I have been competitively swimming since I was ten years old. For the past three summers I have been a lifeguard at a beach in Newport, RI. One of my favorite things to do is to travel and experience new cultures. I hope to study abroad while at Trinity. I think that this class will provide a unique and interactive way of learning about the Hispanic culture in Hartford and the Spanish language as well.
