George, you certainly have a rich topic, and a challenge here is to communicate your argument clearly and persuasively to readers who are not as familiar with the topic as you. Also, your argument about “parabolic” funding versus “linear” prayer rulings sounds interesting, but was not explained (or explained too rapidly for me to follow). Similarly, if a chart is “complicated,” then your job as the presenter/author is to interpret it and help us to understand its key conceptual points. Looking forward to reading your final essay.
