Award-winning poet BESSY REYNA, will present a reading of her poems and conversation with the students and general public from 1-2:00pm. The reading will be followed by a presentation from 2-3:00 pm of “Poetry as Memoir” a reading and discussion of poems by Richard Blanco, Sharon Olds, Patricia Smith and others in which the poets’ personal experiences are presented as poems.
